TechTool Pro 3 (MicroMat):The disk repairs utilities market remains very competitive - with three worthy products (Norton Utilities, DiskWarrior, and TechTool Pro) all seeking to come out on top. We give our top award to TechTool Pro in recognition of the almost non-stop improvements MicroMat has made to the program. TechTool Pro 3 is a major overhaul of version 2, adding virus protection and conflict catching to a program that already did more types of fixing and checking than any other. We're especially fond of its TrashCache feature. Whenever we need to recover a deleted file, we reach first for TechTool Pro.
